“National Register of Historic Places”

The eSTEM (Economics of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Public Charter Schools opened July 21, 2008. The historic Arkansas Gazette Building in downtown Little Rock was renovated to house the new K-9 schools. The 60,000 sf, 3-story building includes 46 classrooms plus special education, art, and science centers and also accommodates approximately 850 students.

Project was awarded Excellence in Preservation Through Rehabilitation by The Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas.
