Besides 21,000 books, CDs and DVDs, the new Central Arkansas Library System’s Children’s Library and Learning Center offers a computer lab, a teaching kitchen, group study room, a theatre, and community room, and it doesn’t stop there. The 6.5 acres has a greenhouse and teaching garden, walking paths, bridges and an amphitheater. Originally intended to seek LEED Silver certification, the Learning Center received Gold certification.
