Mid-Delta Health System, Inc., is one of Arkansas’ 12 Community Health Centers operating at 70 sites across the state that treat hundreds of thousands of patients each year. The health centers are non-profit, community-directed providers located in high-need areas, and they are particularly important to rural areas. The centers are open to all residents, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

The new, 14,481 square foot clinic in downtown Clarendon was funded largely by a U.S. Health & Human Services grant under the Affordable Care Act. The clinic features 7 new medical exam rooms, a radiology suite, 4 dental operating units, a large community room and expanded office, reception, administrative and service areas. The expansion will allow Mid-Delta Health System to meet an increased demand for services and to provide care to more patients in their 4-county service area.
