First Arkansas Bank & Trust (FAB&T) | Gravel Ridge

First Arkansas Bank & Trust | Headquarters & West Branch Renovations

Completion Date: 2013
Location: Jacksonville, Arkansas
Architect: WD&D Architects

Two renovations for FAB&T were completed in 2013…the Main Bank in Jacksonville (38,000 sf) and the West Branch also in Jacksonville.
This was accomplished in phases while the Banks were open for business.

All three floors of the Main Bank were remodeled, including the main teller line, creating new offices for the loan and trust department, infilled a structural steel floor and added two conference rooms.

At the West Branch, we remodeled the teller and office areas, updated restrooms and revamped an area for a Call Center.

  • Lots of windows for natural lighting
  • Roof elements designed to minimize heat island effect and heat gain
  • “Cool Roof” to keep the building cooler and resist heat collection
  • Carpet tiles made from recycled backing and fibers
  • High efficiency lighting and occupancy controls
  • Millwork utilized eucalyptus wood — has a fast growth rate and is a great renewable wood

The result of this and more is a healthier building environment and a reduced demand on energy and natural resources, benefiting FAB&T, its employees, and the community.

New Acme Brick Northwest Arkansas headquarters building is located in Springdale, Arkansas.  A large concrete outdoor material storage area on the 5.78 acre site includes a structural steel office/showroom building at 7,485 sf that has multiple brick types and intricate brick details, a 14,572 sf PEMB warehouse for material storage and a shop area, and a large, fenced, concrete outdoor material storage area.

Country Club of Little Rock

Completion Date: 2015
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Architect: Wittenberg, Deloney & Davidson, Inc.

Phased renovation of the 22,000 sf Club House Main Level.

Included in Phase I:
New entry doors, exterior windows, wood flooring and wood paneling in Foyer, Library, Reception, Parlor, Hallways and Ballrooms, new light fixtures & new state-of-the-art audio visual.  All work was accomplished while the building was open and in operation.

Included in Phase 2:
Complete renovation of the Garden Room, Centennial, Presidents and Terrace Lounges, and formal and Terrace Lounge restrooms to include new mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems, all new finishes, a new wine storage room with private dining, a new bar, and a newly expanded and covered outdoor patio/dining area.

Little Rock Technology Park

The Little Rock Technology Park Authority is a nonprofit governmental unit formed in 2011 to acquire, develop and manage a research technology center in Little Rock.  The Tech Park Phase I is the merger of two buildings:  28,590 sf (417 Main Street); and, 10,020 sf (415 Main Street).  The focus of the Park is to provide space for established IT companies, startups, peripheral professional services and a co-working section.

Paschal Heating, Air & Geothermal

Completion Date: December 2017
Location: Springdale, Arkansas
Architect: deMx architecture

The new headquarters for Paschal Heating, Air & Geothermal in Tontitown is a newly constructed two story, modern design structure.  The 32,176 sf space spans two stories consisting of a 27,589 sf main floor and a 4,587 sf 2nd floor.  It features the DIRTT Furniture Wall System, offices, meeting rooms, sheet metal shop, vehicle maintenance area, and a safe room.

Oven & Tap

Completion Date: 2014
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
Architect: Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects

4,037 sf tenant space revamped to house a very upscale but comfortable Italian restaurant.  The name and the restaurant centers around a large brick oven with stone made in Italy and assembled in California.  Lots of wood and rustic accents were incorporated.

TACAir is a privately-owned Fixed Base Operator (FBO) with operations across the United States.  This 16,000 SF new construction is located at Clinton National Airport.  The world-class executive FBO includes a pilot lounge, theater room, showers/locker rooms, public lobby, concierge desk and administrative offices.  Suspended in the public lobby is a ¾-scale replica of a Command-Aire built by Arkansas Aircraft Company in the late 1920s.  The project also included the weather-proofing and repainting of 14 aircraft hangars, including “Hangar One,” a historic Works Progress Administration (WPA) aircraft hangar built in the mid-1930s.

Martin Orthopedic

Completion Date:  December 2016
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Architect:  Lewis, Elliott, McMorran, Vaden, Ragsdale & Woodward, Inc.

This two-story, colorful facility provides patients and doctors with a soothing atmosphere and all the necessary amenities for a modern medical practice.  The 12,408 sf building hosts exam & x-ray rooms, a casting room, a waiting room, a patient check-in area & physician offices.  There is also plenty of storage and cabinetry to make organization easy.

The 3,789 sf upper level is unfinished and available for expansion as needed.
