This newly constructed 6,365 sf, 2 story building features brick and stone veneers in conjunction with corrugated metal cladding to give it a new, modern, professional look while minimizing costs.  It has three covered entries and each has a large canopy.  Aluminum gutters and downspouts divert excess rainwater and keep the exterior in excellent condition.

The first floor displays storefront windows to maximize natural lighting and is designed with plenty of office space & patient treatment rooms.  It also has a comfortable patient reception and waiting area.

This two-story, colorful facility provides patients and doctors with a soothing atmosphere and all the necessary amenities for a modern medical practice.  The 12,408 sf building hosts exam & x-ray rooms, a casting room, a waiting room, a patient check-in area & physician offices.  There is also plenty of storage and cabinetry to make organization easy.

The 3,789 sf upper level is unfinished and available for expansion as needed.

East Harding was the general contractor for a 1,500 sq ft addition to the Emergency Services wing, including demolition of existing building exterior and addition of new foundation with a tie-in to existing building.  5,700 sq ft interior was remodeled including the triage area, guest relations, waiting area, and the emergency services wing.  the exterior ambulance receiving area and patient parking area were re-configured to allow more accessible emergency access.

The new psychiatric residential treatment facility for the Centers for Youth and Families opened August 21, 2008. The Center serves children from ages 5 to 18 in a ten-county region in Southeast Arkansas. It has accommodations for 24 clients, offering private bedrooms for each resident, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities. The staff of 30 includes physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, dietary and administrative.

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences brought in East Harding to renovate 72,000 sf, including the former Arkansas State Hospital, to house the College of Health Related Professions. Seven buildings were revamped for new office space, work areas, classrooms, teaching labs, and even an ambulance simulator to support more than 20 certificate and degree programs.

The new UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute added a healing garden and a café, in an effort to have a positive atmosphere for patients and their families. Water features and tranquil sitting areas highlight this extension of the Institute.

Renovation and expansion in 2001 and 2003 of ACHRI 4th floor with combined square footage of 18,190. The two projects included 14 wet labs, tissue culture labs, imaging, darkroom, administrative offices, equipment, storage and restrooms. Also included extensive casework and full MEP to include fume hoods, medical gas piping, acid resistant piping, and connections to the deionized water system.

In 2009, more labs were added similar to those below.

UAMS Jones Eye Institute added a genetics clinic that is one of only four of its kind nationwide. The eighth floor of the Institute (11,000 sq ft) has been finished out to house the center, including diagnostic and treatment space, low vision and rehab space, clinical research and database facilities.

East Harding Construction was the lowest qualified bidder for the project, besting our competitors by 4%.

Mid-Delta Health System, Inc., is one of Arkansas’ 12 Community Health Centers operating at 70 sites across the state that treat hundreds of thousands of patients each year. The health centers are non-profit, community-directed providers located in high-need areas, and they are particularly important to rural areas. The centers are open to all residents, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

The new, 14,481 square foot clinic in downtown Clarendon was funded largely by a U.S. Health & Human Services grant under the Affordable Care Act. The clinic features 7 new medical exam rooms, a radiology suite, 4 dental operating units, a large community room and expanded office, reception, administrative and service areas. The expansion will allow Mid-Delta Health System to meet an increased demand for services and to provide care to more patients in their 4-county service area.
