Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial

East Harding Construction is proud to have donated our fee to help fund the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial.  The memorial pays tribute to over a hundred firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty.  The names of the fallen are engraved on granite plaques displayed on a circular monument surrounding the bronze statue of four firefighters.

The four firefighters represent the different kinds of work fire crews do.  “Old Leather Lungs” represents the origins of firefighters. “The Angel of Mercy” represents paramedic firefighters. “On the Line,” the Wildland and the forestry firefighter. “Push’In” represents all of our current firefighters.  A fountain flows underneath the monument.
